Could be a custom wrap. With a copper wrap you can pretend the 18" is a Timpani. Ludwig made a gazzillion of those!
That's a deal for $400. Check the shells to see if they are 3ply with re-rings or the much heavier 6-ply Maple. Either way a deal. No re-wrap is necessary on those. Can't wait to see your post-pick-up-pics!
That's not a Supra though. Looks like a six lug knock-ff off some sort.
Snare does not look like a supra,but Ludwig did do Chrome over wood in the mid 70's,a high school buddy had a B/O badge full kit.
I think the wrap is cool,I had a late 70's early eighties 6 ply Chrome over wood with the rivets at the seam,check and see if that wrap is riveted,if it is and the drums are 6 ply and heavy as hell the drums could be original IMO,.my COW's were as heavy as Sonors.
400.00 bills is a good price if in decent condition if 6 ply,a real good deal if 3 ply,whether natural int,granitone or a mix of both.
The groument on your second pic is not factory Ludwig also the bass drum has metal hoops not wood. the wrap I would say is a re wrap. you need to see this kit in person, and get them down on the price wood replacement hoops are gonna run you at least $50.00 if not more. the snare drum isn't Ludwig it looks like a Import.

Don't be so quick to pass on the kit, especially if you think you can get it for less than the asking price. I'd say go have a look at it first and you never know, it might be totally worth it. I have bought a few kits knowing full well that I was going to trade or sell them as I upgraded. I enjoyed them in the meantime and they helped fund the kits I actually wanted because I was able to make a bit of money on them when I let them go. I hope my 2 cents made sense.

There's lots of drum there for the $$ even if its a re-wrap.
I will go take a look a them. Are there any markings that can help me identify that these are Ludwig shells versus some generic shell that someone attached Ludwig tags on it. If someone here is willing to PM their number so I can send pics to you when I am onsite that would be great.
