Those are usually single flange (one bend in the metal). There do exist very old metal hoops with NO flange, but most of the clipped hoops you encounter are single flange. Most modern hoops (non-die cast) are triple flanged... three bends (two which countour around the head's hoops and one at the top as a "stick saver". I'm sure someone here has some shots of all these types, if not, I have some single flange hoops I can shoot, but I have no double-flange hoops.
