Slingerland ~1970 13, 16, 22 drum kit - $500 shipped Last viewed: 6 hours ago

"Antique" white marine pearl - $400 shipped.

Antique may be a stretch, the wrap is fully intact with excellent seams, but heavily faded, EXCEPT the left side of the bass drum (see additional photos). Otherwise, every part seems to be there except one replaced tension rod and several washers (all replaced), but several tension rods/claws have a decent amount of rust.

All in all, this set will clean up nicely and sound great as is. The nice 60s Slingerland 8 lug BDP Hollywood Ace snare is available for $200 and a snare stand is included for the tom (your choice of Slingerland, Ludwig Atlas or Hercules; drilled for the set-o-matic) but the bass doesn't wasn't drilled for a mount (two Rogers mounts were added though). Bass also has four spurs. Was maybe part of a double bass kit.

I think these drums came together, during a transition period. The 22 (silver badge) has a clear maple interior and is 3 ply; the 13 (gold badge) and 16 (I think it's a gold badge; finish is messed up) are 3 ply and have the tan interiors. Sorry some of the pictures aren't clearer. Let me know if you need additional to the ones posted here.

That's a nice kit and a great price, I wish you were selling these a few weeks ago when I had some extra money, you should have no problem moving them.

Thanks Mr. Ringo!

By the way, the Hollywood Ace might actually be late 50s. Here are some photos:

Very interested in these. Any more info you could divulge? Have you tried to clean them? Just wondering how that WMP will look after some soft scrub. I have a matching 22 kick and a snare that would look great with these....hmmmm.

Hi Mr. Spazz,

I cleaned a section of the bass, and the surface came out nice and smooth, and the finish comes through, but there is no getting the fade out.

All the parts are there and in working order, though some are pretty rusty.
