Slingerland 1990s Artist Series BOP (18" Bass) Drum Kit Last viewed: 6 hours ago

1990s Slingerland HHS Artist Series Drum Kit - BOP sizes with an 18" Bass Drum! The drums are constructed with American wood - maple inner and outer plies with three mahogany inner plies. The drums are in used condition but do not have any cracks in the shells, bearing edge damage or extra holes. Scuffs here and there and a bit of rust on the hoops. One wing screw on the floor tom was replaced. The bass drum batter side hoops shows some stress marks/ fractures. None of these "cracks" go through the hoop. It is very strong so the structural durability has not changed. The pin in one of the tom arms has come out. The drums are ready to play as is.. these are just small imperfections.

$650 + Ship

That's a cool little snare with that one! Isn't that one of the BR snares? I don't see stick choppers on it though. Anyone know?

And you wouldn't see StickChoppers on that drum! Slingerland supplied/built the Buddy Rich model snare with Choppers back when it made it's debut in 1970.. and .. it was also originally pictured in the catalog with StickChoppers too. But, a few years thereafter, Slingerland changed the shell make up of the 1970 Buddy Rich model from 3 ply and rings to 5 ply no rings, and the drum was then built and shipped with StickSavers. StickChoppers were still available by request... they were no longer the standard. This particular "model" snare drum continued in production for years!, even after Slingerland was importing the cheaper made drums from Taiwan in the 90's, and they were all built with the StickSaver type hoop.

Hi Tommy. I was hoping you'd see this and set me straight. Many thanks. Wow I didn't know these were made into the 90's. Pretty long production run.
