SLINGERLAND 6.5x14 SOUND KING SNARE Last viewed: 39 minutes ago

I've got a 6.5x14 Slingerland Sound King snare that I picked up at an estate sale recently. This particular one is the 10-lug model. It was in pretty rough shape, cosmetically speaking, when I got it so I gave it a "little bath". The serial number on the badge is 228408, so I'm guessing that it's from around 1976 or so? The Zoomatic strainer on the drum engages and disengages the snare wires fine but the knob on the strainer doesn't seem to be functioning properly. I don't know if the issue is with the knob itself or with the internal components of the assembly. I also have no idea if this would be an easy fix or if it would require some sort of complex repair or replacement. I simply want to point it out for the sake of honesty. The drum can certainly be played in its current condition but I don't know what the long term affecs might be, if any. I'd like to get $200 plus shipping for the drum. If you've got any interest at all, feel free to drop me a PM. I've also got additional pics, if you'd like to see them. The pics posted actually make the drum look somewhat better than it actually is for some reason. THANKS for looking!
