Gravy!...

Here's a pic of one of my EARLY Slingerland 4X14 Buddy Rich's in WMP. All original, near perfect condition. Notice the badge... black/gold!... indicating LATE 1969 manufacture, prior to the black/silver badged drums which is how most all of them came. Interestingly, I also have a 4X14 Buddy Rich in COW.. ( as he played both! ) .. and that one ALSO has a black/gold badge with the two drums being only a few hundred apart on the serial numbers! Just sheer LUCK that I would find two drums made at approx. the same time... especially with the black/gold badges. Those are hard to find on this model snare drum. Anyway!...

Have a look at the actual Slingerland WMP. Maybe find a wrap available today to match the chip size/pattern? Regardless, NICE DRUM! You will enjoy!!

Awesome, thanks!

I did find that my strainer is correct in having the cutout for the shell. The only problem is that the lever has plating that has worn off. It is down to the bare metal. The strainer works great and I hesitate to mess with it, BUT.....how hard would it be to replace the just lever on a Zoomatic?

Appreciate it.
