If I am correct in my thinking, this is picture of the 806 Flat leg model:

An this is the 809 Tubular leg model:

Am I right? Any differences other than the legs? In what years were these available?

Thanks to other forum members for the pics (I got them from an old thread). I just got an 806 with a kit I bought that needs some work. I just wanted to make sure I had the right model number and name, should I need to ask any fellow forum members for parts and/or advice on fixing it up.

Rob Cook's "The Slingerland Book" states that the #806 Dynamo was offered from 1969 - 1979. Here's a clip from a former #806 listing that was posted in the FOR SALE section of the forum some time ago:

Thanks. Mine also has the hexagonal pull rod. Does that pinpoint the year any?
