Pictures are pretty bad... you need to take some more... include badges & include the sizes of the drums.

It seems to be a 3 ply kit from the mid 1970's & covered in the rather short lived blue denim factory wrapped... see the link.

Cheers

John

I agree with the previous post. Not a particularly popular wrap, like the Inca wraps. What did you get? Stands, the missing hoops and tension rods, snare etc?

they are pretty much just the shells, they are definitely the denim wrap. I have the following:

9x13 tom

10x14 tom

16x18 tom

14x24 bass

I only have the camera on my phone and it isn't great, I will attach some more pictures. Thanks again for the help. I'm not a drummer but my brother is and I picked these up for him, I'm hoping I found something special. I just knew Slingerland has a great reputation

I keep getting an error when I try to upload the pictures as an attachment.

Well...they are definitely "rare" in that Slingerland did not produce many of these kits in the Denim wrap. But, many times, rare does not translate into $$$! If the wrap is in good condition, I would say the kit would be more for show than to play. As to value, it's worth what someone is willing to pay. We need to know what else was included and what parts are missing. After that, we can offer a bit more guidance with value.

thank you Mark.

the wraps are in decent shape, I don't see any tears on them. the bass only has one leg. the 16x18 tom has all three legs. the other 2 toms are just shells. all of the heads need to be replaced. there is no tom holder on the bass drum. no snare.

Those are nice sizes. Pretty sure you'll be shelling (!) out around $250 between rims, rods,T-rods heads and the mount for the BD.

So the kit is the Super Rock kit as per the link I posted... Nice sizes ( I actually have the same kit in a different finish )...

You mention that you have the three FT legs...

Just check that you are not missing one as that size floor tom usually has FOUR legs..

Cheers
