Hey groovy guys and gals. I just got word that the kit is available. It was one of Larrie Londin's kits. My brother picked it up from his family in Nashville and gave it to me. I passed it on to a local church in need (I kept the 15 inch hats). Anyway, the church is looking to bring it back to me. I'm not one to keep these kinds of kits ... so ...

I'm putting it out there to you guys. It will not go to Ebay. Not interested in going that route. I'm also not interested in profiteering. Not my character. If anyone is interested in the kit, say so. I'll eventually get some pics posted. I'm rehearsing with a group this Saturday night and will snag some pics then. What I can say is it's a Slingerland 80s kit done over in WMP. I seem to recall that it was a 22,10,12,16 ... or something like that. It has a couple of his Ludwig road cases (one of them is stenciled with his name) which are in pretty good shape.

For those who are not in the know ... Larrie Londin was a member of the Nashville A-Team and has recorded with pretty much anybody who's anybody. He died back in the summer of 92 and he is missed.

I'll be looking for a few hundred bucks, so that the church can get something to replace the kit. That's all.

If you have something to replace the kit, I would consider that, too.

Whatever helps the church out. No sweat.
