Slingerland Question??? Last viewed: 2 hours ago

Loading...

I have the chance to pick up a Slingy kit with 20" bass, 12, 13and 14 inch toms and a 16"FT....

The guy says it's a 60's kit....Can anyone tell from this pic if it looks like a 60's kit...

I don't know much about Slingy's but thought for $300 bucks it might be worth picking up...Thanks...

What color are the badges?

Black and gold. 60's

Black and silver started in 1970.

What are the serial numbers?

Oh and that's a good price for all those drums.

From the pics, looks like 3 ply's, + the badge, plus the white wrap,I would say 70's also, the white wrap was pretty popular through the 70's.

I had occasion to play a large drummed white 70's Sling 3 ply 13" mt 16" 18" Ft, 24 " Bass, and they were great drums, good tone, warm, meaty and lots of low end.

If those are all 3 ply 300.00 bills is a great deal IMO.
