Slingerland Radio King help Last viewed: 23 minutes ago

I had a friend of a friend contact me about potentially selling these to me, and wondered what you guys think its worth for everything seen in the pics. Condition is rough and it only has the bass drum and the snare (no toms). Does look like it has some decent vintage cymbals though.

Any idea what this could be worth on eBay, or what you'd pay for them as a project/keep-in-the-basement/admire once in a while/play as just a 2-piece/maybe resell someday?

my take if cymbals are no name asian which is usually what u get on theses old kits around 3 to 5 hundred is my estimate bearing in mind these economic times. restored who knows if and when the market turns around it could be any were from 700 to 1500 and more, if ur lucky and there some turkish cymbals in the bunch u'll make out! good luck

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

The snare drum is a student model radio king and in rough shape, the bass drum is either a Stage Band series or a marcher, for the whole thing no more than $300.00

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

BD looks like a single tension marcher....

Not a "resale gold mine" if thats what you are after, but definitely some cool sounding drums that look like they need some love! I'd pick em up and see what I couldnt do to save em!

I agree with VM on the price...unless those are some sweet old Zildjians the drums themselves aren't worth much in their current state. Personally $250 would be the most Id probably go.

Thanks for all the insight! I hope they are Zildjians/Paiste, we'll find out. I'll keep you posted on if I get them, and if it was a good deal. I already made an offer, so we'll see what happens.
