So what do you guys think of this trade? My Slingerland black sparkle pearl 12,12,14,20 for this 60's Rogers champagne sparkle, 13,16,20, non- original t-rods, thanks.

Are Rogers orphans or matched? Seems even though everyone should have a Slingerland in their collection.
I say keep the Slingerland.

Two completely different sounding drum sets. What sound are you going for? Therein lies your answer.
That bass has a mount for a twin-tom rig on top. As a 20-13-16, the kit is not complete. Probably came as a 20-12-13-16. A 13" on top of a 20" bass is not a common or popular setup. Tough to find the matching 12, they all fade differently. As a partial kit, not worth as much as it could be...
Thanks for the comments, I've decided not to trade, it would cost me $150 to get the correct t-rods and like some of you pointed out, it's missing the 12" tom.
johnnyringo,i`ve always loved Champagne sparkle wrap and those Rogers are beautiful but DanC is right, tough to find that matching 12".I`ve always played a 13" on top of my Rogers 20" bass and sometimes two 13`s up top on my Rogers Champagne sparkle set.Something else will come along in this wrap colour eventually for you, they always seem to anyway.
