Hi, m8's!

Looking for a pair of diamond mounting plates with tongue/slot receivers for toms. Really just want the pieces that are riveted together to form the slot. Pic is the tongue mount part. I want the plate from the drum. Thanks and Cheers!

Hey Strider,

Steve Maxwell drum shop in New York sells reproductions of these plates. Check out the eBay link here: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Diamond-bracket-for-tom-Brand-new-for-Gretsch-/160882186679?pt=Vintgae_Drums_Percussion&hash=item25755359b7

Hope that's what you're looking for. So what year/make kit are you looking for this piece for?

Hi, EMD!

That's exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks so much for the info!

I've been following this thread at DFO:

http://www.drumforum.org/index.php?/topic/73028-not-getting-memriloc/

I did the strike the drum while holding it by the rim (off the stand) and the positive difference in tone, resonance and sustain was remarkable.

I emailed Gauger percussion about RIMS for my 1965 Slingerland set. Mr. Gauger promptly responded with the idea of just attaching the riveted pieces which form the receiver slot to their Universal Plate and away I go. I don't want to disassemble my original plates and thus my inquiry here.

They are for these 1965 Gene Krupa Deluxe 1N with extra tom and kick

Thanks, again, m8! Have a great day and Cheers!
