As far as the Knob/Threaded bolt go.. I've been lucky.. but after fitting a new rubber washer last week I can see how easy it would be to lose a pressure fitted knob. In my memory bank.. I inserted the following notation. Buy an internal muffler of appropriate diameter & re tap the thread to suit.I'm sure it can be done easily.. Cheers

I can see tapping in a small screw from the side.... Camco style... as being a good fix too. Hmmmmm

I just want to thank ShawnM for helping out on this an getting the me part that I needed. This is what a good drum community should be all about - people helping each other out and not just doing it for the money. Thanks again Shawn.flowers2

Hello Shawn M, I too am looking for the Knob for a Zoomatic...any chance you have another laying around...I rescued a Chrome wrapped Artist model, a bunch of pitting and rust on both the lugs and strainer...(I have pics that I'll post soon)...eventually want to replace all of them but for now I would settle for the missing knob. If you have one let me know how much it is...my thanks for everything I've learned on this site...

once the brass ceases to glitter, and the drum looses its luster, and the stage remains dark, all you have left is the timbre of family.

I also have the same problem with my zoomatic strainer. Wondering if anyone has extra knobs or advice.

Bumping this thread because I too, like so many, are looking for the pressure-fit knob for my Zoomatic. Any ideas? Coming up dry on the bay and C/L.

Looking for Zoomatic throw-off knob.
