Are these actual black chrome? If so, as stated above, they are an actual ply of metal wrap. The reason I ask is because the wrap on these appears to be in excellent shape which is somewhat uncommon for these. They often are pitted and rusting.

Looks like a Avante set. Are you sure what you think is a 16" is not a 15" tom. It goes in the other bass drum tom mount on a single setomatic tom holder. I have the same set except mine are three ply with re rings. Mine are 24" 18" 15" 14" 13".
Sure your's is an Avante ?.. usual size is 22, 16, 14, 13, 12...

Drums were sold today. I got some replies from the seller but not really what I needed to know to really go for it. Would have been nice with the 24"... Well... More chances will come. Maybe in a Ludwig Set... Thanks guys

Mine are definitely Avante in larger sizes. Two Tom mounts on the bass drum. One single setomatic and one double setomatic tom holder came with them. I don't set them up in that configuration though. I put the 15" on a rims and use the tri tom mount for a splash cymbal.

Nice kit Vibes... I now remember when you started on them.. Wrap looks exceptional. Nice use of the forward mount too... If those were mine, I'd feel "compelled" to now knock up a cowbell mount post for the rear mount....:)
