Slingerland/Leedy/Premier Snares Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Hi! I pick these up on Craigslist the other day, and these are beyond my restorative capabilities - the first drum is a Slingerland 14" - looked pretty rough, I think it's COB, a few dents here and there and just filthy. Second snare I believe is a 39/40 Broadway, but it's big, 15 x 9 - the throw-off has been taken off. And the third one is a Premier and is in awesome condition - believe to be late 70's/early 80's - I think it's a hi-fi model.

I'd like to sell the two older, rough ones together - $60 obo

and then $100 for the Premier.

Thanks,

Dave

fungus - The entire website was down for about 16/18 hours. A lot of posts, pm's and data was apparently lost. After the site went back up, I saw this ad and I just responded. I want you to know that I would -never- jump your claim. If I had known you had first dibs on it, I wouldn't have responded to the ad. It was just 'open' at the time I saw it and like you, seeing a great deal, I went for it. The timing just sucked for you... if the site hadn't gone down and all that data lost, you would have been first up to bat.

Next time!

John

Fungus - (Check your pm's) I feel bad about you missing out on these snare drums.

I'll tell you what: I'm more interested in the Leedy snare than I am in the COB Slingy. If you still want the slingy, just pay me half what I'm paying for the two drums, (I'm paying $60. plus shipping, so your end would be $30. plus $20. to ship it to you. What do you say, brother?

Let me know. I just don't want you to feel like you got run over by a malfunctioning server! It's the season for spreading good will. We'll both get to smile and you won't feel bad because you lost out. COB Slingy for $50. shipped! ;)

Until I hear from you...

You're one of the last people on the planet that I would think anything bad about John! I just didn't know if anything had changed and/or if everything was operating correctly. I need another SK like I need a hole in my head, but I'm a very sick man!...SICK-SICK I TELL YA! LOL!

When GhostNote was hacked last year & went down, it came back up and everything had changed. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't overlooking something new & making sure that all was well in the VDF airways.

BTW, Thanks again! I LOVE THIS SITE!
