Great drum collection. If or when I decide to start selling off my collection of drum sets, I hope that any advertising I do does not come off as pompous, stilted, or condescending as this eBay listing.

No matter how far you push the envelope, it is still stationery.

So what if a dealer buys the drums and flips them, that's the buyer's business and the way of the world...if the seller gets his/her price who cares?

that Barrett Deems kit is cool. Everything else is nice but no historical significance.

I totally agree with you, Mike. I never understand individuals who believe that they have some sort of right to tell the new owner of the drums what they can and cannot do with them. It simply doesn't make any sense to me. I've sold a significant amount of individual pieces as well as kits and my only concern is that the buyers were 100% satisfied with the transaction. I actually had a gentleman who bought a kit from me who then offered it on craigslist in less than 24 hours for four times the amount he paid me for it. It didn't bother me a bit.

I was thinking the same thing. The seller sounds like a pompous douche. Nice drums though.

The real shame here is I was planning to buy from him but unfortunately I was paid ONLY in Taco coupons from my last gig and apparently he doesn't accept those..I was also going to flip but that can stay between me and the world wide web!
