I found a snare drum case that I am trying to figure out how old it is. It is grey and white tweed pattern and has an oval yellow tag on it saying Ludwig (in script), drum company Chicago Ill. It has a handle and metal corner protectors on all corners. I didn't know they came in tweed?

Like this one? I got this one along with a 1963 Pioneer recently. It also had a 1963 Ludwig catalog supplement in the case, so I have to assume early 60s on that style case.
