Well, I know this is a vintage drum forum but I have to mention a new drum shop I visited over the weekend. Vics Drum Shop in Chicago. Vic was the sales manager at the Drum Pad, now he is full filling his dream with a simply off the chart drum shop, 2 floors. Its all new gear, but oh sooo sweat, most gear is top of the line. My if you plan on coming to the drum show, you owe it to youself to make some extra time and stop by Vics. Its drum heaven

Thats the kind of show room you need Mr drum Factory!!!! I forgot to mention, after we left Vics, we found a Vintage Ludwig store downtown, when we were pondering over the nice Ludwig sets on the lewer level, I saw this 5 x 14 8 lug Sling snare from the 70's, I picked it up and it was near mint cond. I asked the price, they wanted $150, Offered $100 and I came home with another snare. I believe its only a festival model, but it had all original heads, and wires, and was stunning. I'm a sucker for that Black 70's badge anyway. LoLoLoLo
