Some people either got it so wrong, are so ignorant, or just plain scammers..

Played on many albums with Ringo.. LoLoLoLo.. Yes, of course you did.. To add insult to injury, check out the price on a vintage early pointy b/w white badge Rockers kit.. I found it quite amusing ;)

He says HE worked at Apple as an artist. Good for him. Someone had to do it. If you decide to buy the kit and go collect it he'll probably show you all about it.

There's No mention of using THIS kit there at all.

He states he bought this kit for HIS studio. In fact there is no mention of him even being a Drummer. He could be a Guitarist or Pianist for all we know. He is just selling a pointy badged practice/studio demo kit.

So if you fancy a Rockers kit for £600 and a chat about Apple records then Bingo!

I'm not all that bent about $999. It looks like it has Classic lugs. It would be nice if he'd clarify what he was playing on "Photograph". Ringo stuff is hot right now,so he's striking while the irons hot. Whatever...

Apple Records was short-lived and featured only a small handful of artists. My guess is that this guy could only be Chris Hodge, someone whom Ringo befriended in the early 1970s. http://www.applerecords.com/#!/artists/Chris_Hodge

Lots of red flags here though. "Recorded with" could mean he was a janitor in the building while Ringo was in the building..

I wasn't interested in the kit at all.. Just browsing the internet and Reverb.com. As Larry says, some red flags in here without a doubt..Anyway, i just found the ad amusing...

One would think that revealing his/her name and the songs on which he/she recorded on Apple would BOOST the selling price of drum, right?

I don't see anything deceitful in that add, I'm guessing he wasn't even a drummer because he said he learned a lot about drums during his time at Apple. The kit may be a bit overpriced, but it's not like he's asking two grand.
