Nice drum. I never knew Pearl made a 1pc steambent maple shell. Bet it sounds great too. What year(s) did Pearl make these?

They were available in the USA 1990-1992. Unique in that they have no reinforcement rings and were bent using a micro wave oven. I've had two of the 6.5" models, still have one and love it. Install some die cast rims and they become the single ply snare Gretsch should have made! Finding them for under $300 is a bargain, especially the less common 5.5" model.
