Sonor Drum kit Last viewed: 7 minutes ago

Hey I have another set for everyone to help me Identify. I picked this set up at a rummage sale, for $40, and when I tried to identify it, it looks like it may be a vintage kit. I actually just bought it so I could use the cyIt is a tiger red sonor. I have looked, but I cannot find serial numbers on it. The badge on it looks like one that is from the 60's, but it doesnt have a second badge that says "made in west Germany". It just says "made in Germany" on the main badge. The hardware on it almost looks like the Sonor teardrop, but that may just be wishfull thinking. Anyway, Please help me out.

Thanks,

Great find! These are a bit rare to come by, and they sound great! A friend of mine has one in the same finish.

First off, sorry about the pictures, I took them on my Iphone. The cymbols weren't the ones that came with the kit, they are ziljins from the 70's. I don't have the floor tom hoop. What would a set like this be worth?

$40? I hate you....but....in a good way!

That's one of my dream kits right there!

Here's a Sonor kit I had in a wine marble finish, I believe the one on yours is called ruby pearl, that is a great kit. Sonor vintage drums sound great, congragulations.Bowing

Sonor teardrop lugged Ruby Pearl set. Looks familiar. I had enough for a double set but only have the 5 drums remaining.

Looks like a repaired tom holder, but original chrome pieces.

BTW - I paid a bit more than the $40 you paid. Excellent score.
