I have this Snare Drum posted on ebay right now for $479 starting auction price.

If there is someone who can identify this snare with more details than I can I would appreciate it. I believe that this was a drum that cost approx. $600 new in the late 80's early 90's.

It was the grand door prize at a modern drummer festival in Montclair NJ.

I don't remember the exact year but I believe that Carl Palmer and Harvey Mason both did sessions.

I could use some help in finding out what a fair price would be for this drum.

If is 5.75" deep it's a d505 phonic. A 6.5" deep is a d506 model.

Looks nice, good luck with the sale.

I'm assuming that the measurements you are quoting is the shell only (without the rims) correct?
