Like tamadrm said... My youngest is 25 and the oldest is 34... man, what a trip that was. Three girls. But they are all happy, healthy and somewhat sane (after being around me, it's surprising).Have fun with the kids because it's all over far too fast. (but then there are the grandkids!)

Hey Fish...this post just blew me away! I had no idea you were old enough to have a 34 year old daughter! I mean hell, I'm 34 years old myself and I thought you were closer to being my age, than my dad's! Kudos to you, man...you look great for your age.

Ok..here's what nobody tells you.Start a college fund...yesterday if you can.And start a wedding reception fund also.I don't know about anyplace else, but in New York City...its expensive, and daddy has to pay.Lastly just when you think you can relax, the last one is out of the house, and what will I do with the "extra "money......Ha HA...grandchildren.I have step children also so...10 yes 10 grandchildren.

Extra time on your hands...NOT.Babysitting will take care of that thank you.

But I'd do it all over again in a heartbeat.Enjoy

I think you Guys have covered it pretty well but I add this..

Get your children & grandchildren involved in music from a young age, let them have a belt on the kit & join in & play along with their Wiggles stuff etc. Encourage any music talent they may have & be their Roadie through their teens. It will pay long term dividends for sure.. Two Sons, three Grandaughters, one three year old Grandson who won't leave the house without his Wiggles guitar, All of them into some sort of music/dance.

and a bonus .. I remember clearly my eldest bopping along at my band rehearsals at age three, just like Adita.. He's now 2 times Oz flatpick champion.

And there is nothing as much fun as a family Jam..

Cheers

John

Amazing... love that video.

Every time I play my drums with my little daughter beside be, she just smiles and smiles. Makes me happy as well of course....

I attached a pic I took, when she was only 3 weeks old, and one more recent pic....

She's 9 months now, so much fun :-)

That should be entered into America's Funniest Video's if that show is still on. Much better than a lot of the "kick to the groin" stuff they repetively show.

Aah, how cute!!

Really nice baby!

I got a little niece, she'll be one year old in November and she just loves when I drum. She dances and smiles and my brother-in-law, who is a folk singer and guitarist, basically taught her how to hold sticks and bang upon drums on my kit this summer. I look forward to teaching her how to play John Densmore and John Bonham... altough I have to learn that myself first!
