Source for pedal straps? Last viewed: 5 hours ago

Hey, y'all.... I've been doing a lot of pedal restoration work lately. I'm making my own leather straps, which is working out fine. But I'm wondering if I could be offering a nylon or whatever strap as an alternative.

I've done a search and found very few companies offering straps -- and when I can find them, there are no dimensions given. For the pedals I'm working on, the width is (mostly) 5/8 inch.

Good source??

Can I suggest rock climbing strap, it`s really strong, cuts easy and you only need a lighter to do the edges !! I doubt a kick pedal would stretch it out !!

It`s a drum,.....Hit It !!

Brilliant.

Would any old outdoorsy rock climbing kind of place have it? Probably best to find online, eh?

Thanks!

As a follow up... does anyone know how wide the DW replacements straps are? I found a source for nylon webbing, but I don't know how easy it woud be get nice clean holes into it.

So.... the DW may be a choice... ?
