Searching for red ribbed rubber hose will get you some strange results. This looks close but I think in inner dia is just not large enough. I'd think maybe 1/2" ID would do but don't see it listed. This looks like the correct type of hose though maybe?? LOLhttp://www.klystra.com/store/hose/tubing-connectors/hose/tubing/red-ribbed-rubber-hose-65-ft-stiff

Holy crap Glenn, that's real close(pun fully intended)Falling Do

Steve I thought it was pretty close looking too. There's a Medical Supply house here in town. I'm going to stop by and see if they have any in stock. And if it might fit. I don't have a Ludwig stand but on my Slingerland stand the basket arms are 7/16" wide and 1/8" thick. I'll see if they can tell me if that tubing comes in larger dia. After I explain the other intended use of course!

LJ yes!! No used tubing~! Ha!!

Glenn.

First time I tried to open that link, it didn't work; it was only later (at work) I got it opened... Hmmm, interesting product-line. Please let us know if anyone gets ahold of some of this tubing and if it'll fit on the arms. Looks great! And even a couple colors.

I've used Plast-Dip lost of times. Stuff works great, but it can be tricky to get a uniform coating, as it flows out (somewhat self-levelling). You can do multiple coats for thicker coating.
