Spring cleaning! (Yamaha, Pearl etc.) Last viewed: 5 hours ago

I have a box of 'stuff' that needs a new home. I have pictures of everything uploaded now.

1) Pearl Speed Seat round throne top (nice) on a 4-legged Viking brand base. Base has the acme screw height adjustment. Screw is a bit lose in the thread area, so when raised up it feels a bit wobbly. The base itself is sturdy and could possibly be retrofitted for other uses as well.

2) 2 14" 8- lug steel hoops for snare (snare side and batter set) who came off a Powertone snare, but are NOT Rogers hoops. Clean and straight enough for an 8-lug 'working' snare. They sound as you would expect a steel hoop to sound.

3) Pearl (I think so anyway) snare butt end. Polished cast chrome plated. Complete with all hardware and gaskets. Does not say "peral" so could be used on any custom snare as well. Pic attached.

4) SOLD

5) Gibraltar brand complete snare stand. Sort of a cross between the Yamaha 900 series snare stand (upper) and a Ludwig Atlas (lower) due to the tubular legs and ball-and-socket angle adjustment. VERY sturdy and VERY easy to adjust. (Updated picture taken) Good chrome.

6) SOLD

7) Pearl brand 14" snare wire. Good condition, complete and no stretched wires. For your Pearl restoration. I think these are early 90's vintage maybe? (I have a pic of the end plate)

8) Earlier (70's?) Pearl brand snare wires for 14" drum. Good condition, complete and no stretched wires. For your Pearl restoration.

9) New set of Remo Gut Tone snares for 14" snare drum. Brand new in the package, never installed. At LEAST 20 years old...

10) SOLD

11) El cheaapo bass pedal. Complete and functional, did I mention cheap? Good for a beginner set.

12) Vintage snare stand "New Era" made in england. White tips on the snare basket; rubber feet missing from the bottom. Seems complete and has good chrome. Will clean up easily.

13) SOLD

14) Plain Yamaha triple clamp. All wing screws are missing; this is the new style wing screw model, made in China. Good condition, just needs new wing screws.

15) Generic / Gibraltar add-on clamp. (Dog bone I think they are called?) both ends swivel and adjust for different pipe diameters; center comes apart to have the clamps 90 degrees out from one another if desired. I have two of these, both complete.

16) SOLD.

17) TAMA bass beater. Plastic 'barrel' shape with felt pad on one side. Slightly bent rod at base which could be bent back if needed. (black plastic w/ white felt)

18) a double clamp (parallel clamp) that is not as nice as the two dog bones above. Missing one of the long threaded nuts, otherwise complete. If I find the nut it will be included but it was not in the bottom of the box...

19) CUSTOM extended foot board for a DW 5000 bass pedal. This was bolted/silicone glued to a used pedal I bought. I don't care for it, but maybe someone else will? Made from thin aluminum plate it is too nice to just recycle...

20) Assorted memory locks, all for 7/8 tubing.

........20A) 4X newer Yamaha chromed steel versions, no screws

........20B) 2X chromed steel with screws (I think Gibraltar brand?)

........20C) 4X chromed steel with screws, thinner profile

........20D) 1X chromed steel for large base cymbal stand or high hat stand. Has the very wide 'ear' sticking out of one side, with screw. (NOTE: Some may have sold...)

21) Rogers Powertone Shell. Chrome over brass. Fullerton CA. with decent chrome and a perfect interior label.

22) Rogers hi-hat stand 60's vintage I think; rather rusty but would clean up well enough for a working kit, or maybe just to get a decent foot board for a nicer stand... (I have two PICS attached now!)

That's it! Combine stuff to save on shipping! Clean out my basement!!!

These are the last pictures. Remember I'll cram a bunch in one box to save on shipping!!!

That big memory lock may go with the Gibraltar snare stand. If it fits, it goes with it!

I also have:

Ludwig Atlas base for a tom tom stand. Base and pipe, all feet intact and both plastic screws. The very top is missing and it's rusty. Original blue/olive sticker is there, but rough. It would clean up reasonably well, but will never be show quality. The screws and feet might be worth more than the rest...

I think that's it for the moment..

Need pictures on the Atlas stand... Soon!!! Lame

OK I have updated this post.

There is still lots of good stuff, and please bear with me as I confirm parts are actually still available before we go any further. I think I have it all sorted, but my memory is worth less than dental floss at a Willie Nelson concert...:o

Updated again! Many pictures added, particularly the Rogers HH stand...

Gibraltar snare basket has magically changed into a complete Gibraltar snare stand! It is a very nice heavy-duty stand that adjusts to any angle! My #1 for years!
