I'm sorry to hear of your loss and hope you get a positive resolution.

Some of us here are wary of these types of posts as there have been fakers in the past. The $10K reward sets off some alarms when you could replace everything you lost for that amount. Why such a large reward?

My kit:
Ludwig Vistalite Big Beat set consisting of:
14” X 22” bass, 16” X 16” floor tom, 8” X 12” ride tom, 9” X 13” ride tom, 5” X 14” snare
Ludwig 201 Speed King bass drum pedal
Ludwig 1124 Spur-lok hit-hat with Ludwig Standard Paiste 14” cymbals (760 & 770 gr) with ching-ring
Two Ludwig Standard S-270 cymbals stands
18” Zildjian crash cymbal (1550 gr) and 20” Zildjian ride cymbal (2130 gr) with CAMCO sizzler
Gibraltar motorcycle seat-style drum throne with backrest

Sorry for your loss, but you do know you can buy 8 to 10 identical vistalite kits for the money you're offering as reward for just one.

Hope you get your drums back.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

Didn't you post this a while ago on the DFO forum?

What's the precinct of occurance, date of occurance and complaint report number?

Didn't you also say that you knew who did this and where the drums are?

So this must mean the case is still open. Why not call the case detective at the precinct of occurance,,and just tell him where and who has your drums. The perp is also in criminal possession of stolen property. That's an easy collar for the case detective, it closes the case.....and you get your drums back.

That's a win win. Or is there more to the "story" mate.

So, it looks like our natural suspicions are correct again, huh?

Sympathy? A private laugh at our expense? A bored teen-ager? No, worse, a bored, angry and frustrated middle-aged man? Been known to happen. It is just one of the favorite pursuits of self-loathing individuals.

Who knows... more importantly, who cares.

Next case! Mister T
