In my opinion something is up with that snare.

First, there are on no lines on the mid section, some of the early gretsch shells rogers used may not have had them. But those would have had b+b lugs anyway

As far as I know,Rogers only used single ended lugs on the deeper wooden snares, metal snares used double ended lugs.Rogers did offer dynas in brass with no chrome, but I do not know if brass would patine to that grey color, from the pic the shell looks more like copper to me.

It is hard to tell from pic,but the shell looks it has no beads at the top and bottom, again early dynas that used gretsch shells did not have them I think, and again would have B+B lugs.

I am pretty sure that Dynas did have the script badge along with the oval custom built badge into the beavertail era,but not with a shell like that I am pretty sure.

Also the batter hoop looks like a die cast,so not original IMO

I am sure some of the Rogers experts will be along to clarify and/or correct me soon enough.

Looks like it was in a fire.

C Clip Lugs. 1974 bottom hoop. I think this may have been a marcher cut down rather poorly. Not a genuine snare drum in its present shape. Looks to have been painted, again, very poorly. I would say NO.
