I got the bigger lot, just unpacked it today.

Sample picture of my 9 cymbal score:

Picture of what someone else won from the same store in Denver:

I realize this is a long shot but the reason why I'm posting in the first place is to figure out if there's anyway to match some of the missing parts up from the 2 auctions. Goodwill had no idea what should go with what so I have a top of a Ludwig stool missing the base and I now have 2 incomplete Spurlock stands.

And if anyone was wondering, the pie that looks like a Turkish K in my screen grab happens to actually be one. I about fainted when grabbing the pies out of the trap case. Anyway, not gloating here just putting this out there in case the other auction winner comes across this. They might also have gotten a Turkish K as well in their lot :)

Here's my haul:

Eric,i`m thinkin` you scored "BIG TIME" here.Don`t know what you paid but i do know that the Turkish K is good $ alone and likely the rest you pretty much got for free.

you got a great deal on those. goodwill should have never split that lot up though. that's gonna be a mess with the stands.

Just took closer looks at the pies, the main reason I went on a whim for this lot, and it turns out 1 pair of hats are what I believe to be some 60's Paiste 602's. Another ride is a Ludwig Standard by Paiste, and the 3rd ride is pretty sweet Avedis USA, on the thin side like I prefer for jazz. I think there's a pair of Krut hats too, which are pretty thin. The Supra is pretty minty, super micro pits here and there. Even got 2 complete WFL era Speed Kings and a WFL flat base snare stand. Ludwig cowbell with that mount tightener thing that I lost on another cowbell mount, wow, still taking it all in as I type this. I should put some pictures of the cymbals up in the cymbal area as I've never even touched a Turkish made K before and I'm not sure about the Ludwig Standard Paiste... :)

Wasn't this non-shippable out of Denver? I would have watched it if they would have shipped. Congrats on the booty!

3rd party shipping was available, so I bid on a whim with about 25 minutes left and won.

I did already have the 3rd party shipping service quote me on what it would cost, ended up being 40 bucks less somehow. I paid a bit of a premium for them to go to the Goodwill and pick up this lot and send it off on a Greyhound bus, only took about a day to get it once it got on the bus. I was a bit worried, but the whole thing was under $500 including shipping.

If this was a regular 'ship to anywhere' Goodwill auction, I'm sure it could have gotten close to $1000.

I guess this haul qualifies as my second super lucky deal, counting my lucky stars :)

I got super lucky as I don't think anyone from Denver actually went to the location of the gear to check the stuff out first, that's a big town. Still pinching myself! This is actually my 3rd lucky drum score and I don't collect nearly enough of stuff like some of the super sick drummers on VDF :D
