SUPER RARE vintage early 60's Pre-Serial Ludwig Downbeat kit 12/14/20 in BLACK GALAXY finish!!!

this finish is scarce these days and rarely seen, especially in pre serial, and especially with a 14" floor tom! drums are in nice shape but are missing some parts - top and bottom mufflers for toms, cymbal L arm bracket for the kick, and batter side bass drum T-rods, otherwise its all there with no extra holes drilled. the bass drum wrap has a split around the cymbal arm bracket and the floor tom does off of one lug (see pics). looks like the edges have been cleaned up as well. includes soft carry cases!

all in all a great little set that needs very little and has a big presentation - looks stunning!! super rare wrap with full bass drum hoop inlays!

(usually i would clean up the drums, source the missing pieces and ask a higher price, but i would rather pass this on to someone who has the time to make the kit as nice as possible.)
