Super sensitive score. Last viewed: 0 seconds ago

Hey guys, big day for me today. Saw an add on CL for some cymbals and a snare drum. Turns out to be this mint condition, one owner Super Sensitive with pointy b/o badge. For once I was the first caller and the ladies who owned it let me have first look even though others had said they could get there before me. Bless thier hearts, I met two super nice ladies that had an all female rock band back in the late 70's, 80's and 90's. I got there and ended up with three Zildjian's, no black ink on them. One 20" ride, one 18" crash and a 8" splash. Deal was you buy the cymbal and you get the stand. So I got two nice b/o Hercules or Atlas ( I dont know the difference) boom stands. The splash came with a little device to stack it over the top of another cymbal. Got all done with the deal and they gave me the rolling hardware case, it is a Humes and Berg unit. They bought all of this stuff brand new back in the seventies and took very good care of it. Im just so happy I could cry!

The prices were too good to pass up, to give you an idea, I paid 200.00 for the snare drum and the Ludwig Atlas stand, hell its like brand new!

Thank you!

The snare drum is an absolute beauty of a steal.

Some days, the crap sandwich finds someone else.

You did very well.

It would be nice if more ladies were in bands and sold their gear 30 years later........ and it looked better than stuff on the clearance table brand new.

You lucky dog! That drum looks like it came right out of the box! And you got it for one third the price it goes for! Plus stands!!! You killed.

Did you buy the brass too? Those cymbals sound like they could be 60's Zildjians!

Way to go! Sometimes everything just clicks.

John

Too many great drums to list here!

I think it might have the original heads and snare wires. Ever see this logo on a head?

Yes I bought the brass too. They have the small very faded stamps but no ink stamping.

Thank you!

You will be happy to know I am putting together a big r badge Dynasonic. It has taken a while to get all the parts but I finally have them. It will be fun to learn how both of these strainer mechanisims work!

Thank you!

good gracious!! what a score. everything looks fantastic. I'm not as versed on the b/o stuff as I am keystone, but I do believe with those feet, those are Hercules stands. the atlas stands used the more conventional smaller rubber tips. the 6.5 looks amazing. well done sir!
