A few years ago I found this snare.It was in terrible condition,pealed chrome,painted black...

I find shop to re-chrome it.It is not perfect job done,but it is much better than it was before.Bottom hoop is not original,I guess and I put new washers under tension rods

The drum looks 100% better than before!! Great work!! I know the chrome plating process is expensive...
