Supra back to life Last viewed: 1 hour ago

So I picked up this 6.5 Supra from a guy from the Pearl Drummers Forum. It was pretty beat up. Not really "vintage" but still cool....its a Monroe Keystone drum. Powder coated the shell and lugs in gloss black. New rims, rods, P-86, and DW 3 position butt. I wanted to turn this into a cool player. I think its gonna get plenty of play time!

is that the one you picked up the other night on ebay? I've still got my $80 5.5 coming in the mail, but that one will clean up nice. I'm going to hold these rods. I have a lot of Ludwig stuff coming through and I'm sure I'll use them soon.

That is a beautiful drum sir! how much was it to get it powder coated? and what kind of business does that?

The 'Johnny Cash!' Love it, all black. Very classy and a nice save. You'll have fun with that one for years to come. Cool customizing... Walking
