Hey guys, I have a pre serial COB Ludwig 5x14. Is it worth picking up the Ludalloy model of the same size? (I do have a 6.5 Ludalloy already).

In my opinion, you dont need both a cob and ludaloy snare sized the same. i have both and rarely find reason to play the luddy version.

You don't need a 400. You need a 402, though. Yes, seriously, you do...

1970 Ludwig Jazzette
Thanks fellas! Yeah, I'll skip the 400. I have a 402 which is a favorite!
I couldn't help myself and had to get an actual LM400 to add to my snare collection. I'll be picking a 70s LM400 this weekend from a local drummer...
enjoy it,great snare!
Picking it up this weekend! This will round out my Ludwig metals collection!!! Talked to the guy yesterday and getting a great deal on this. It's a 70s to 80s blue olive version and in really good shape.
