Cheers, will check strainer in more detail when I get to it tommorow, it seems to be ok at first glance, although I have noticed that when strainer is disengaged the lever is rubbing a bit on the lug (this would be on right side) maybe it is dare I say it, slightly out of kilter. Without having it with me right now it I don't think it looks crooked or anything, but have noticed when looking Very close at strainer there might be a VERY small.....I don't want to say dent , that sounds to dramatic -a mark in the metal, about half the size of end of a ?...pencil..

Sorry to get long winded! The diplomat that's on reso side is definitely the 2ml one , - diplomat snare side or hazy head.I think these really help a drum.

Posting again, sounds quite amazing now, don't know why I didn't do it before but I've tuned it quite high, hardly much rattle now, -hope It still sounds good in rooms with a wooden floor though. Great drum this.
