Swan Leg Cymbal Stand Identification Last viewed: 6 hours ago

Hey all,

I've had this cymbal stand in my arsenal for 15 years or so and I would like some light shed on the subject. I've heard that Rogers made these swan leg stands back in the day, but I'm not 100% sure. It is a fairly heavy duty stand. I use it to support my set of chimes.

Can anyone provide me with more info regarding this stand such age/era, make, etc. Was this a popular stand?

Thanks in advance

Cheers

Thanks for some insight Teverson-sr. Attached is a pic of a similar stand I found in a 1974 Tama catalogue (#872). I couldn't find a similar stand in any of the older catalogues. I noticed that the legs on the Tama stand in the catalogue are made of flat bar, whereas, my stand the legs are made of round stock. This leads me to believe that Tama might not be the manufacturer.

Opinions?

Cheers

Well, I guess I should pay a little more attention to what I'm posting!!! I apologize Teverson-sr for doubting you. I was looking at the wrong corner of the picture. That is my stand exactly. Mystery is solved.

Thanks guys!

Cheers
