Super excited. Yes, I paid for it, but honestly not anywhere near what I've seen them go for, at least in my searches, and it's really in impeccable condition.

I mean, first of all, that throw-off is in amazing shape. Th inside of the shell is almost mint, and while anything like that always makes me think it's been re-painted, I can kind of tell because around the badge grommet it looks original. Either way, I'm seeing this as just a drum that was well-taken care of over the years.
Even cooler, is the badges are pretty close... (I know that really never mattered) but because this drum has no date stamp I just have to assume we're talking 65-67, same range my kit is from.
Pretty stoked to finally have a matching Pioneer. This was on eBay so maybe some of you saw it but I made him an offer and he accepted. Superb packing job also, I have to give this guy credit. Even the manufacturers don't pack their shells anywhere near how well he did.
