Found an ad that was 20mins old..

A Gretsch Round badge kit (60s)

18" Bass drum (original YES I said 18")

14" flr tom Original ..yes a true 14"

and 12/13" rack..and COB snare to boot.!

Had Slingerland hardware installed from new..

Silver sparkle and orig / but the floor tom was faded badly to a white.

All hardware was present / missing 1 set of T's claws.hoop on the bass.

Asking $700 OBO...

NEED I SAY MORE..!

It was a 4hr round trip pick up...but me and my Prius were ready for the challenge...lol

Somebody gave him a sad song story and he bought it all...

so hes holding it for him till the weekend..lololol

IF the sad song guy is reading this....GOOD JOB.!

$700 for this kit is a STEALLLLLLL...

I'm guessing from the pics i'ld seen / easily $2500.

pics of the kit are below..

Keep in touch with the seller in case the deal falls through!! I`ve had that happen to me before when you think it`s sold and the potential buyer backs out for whatever reason and the kit goes to the next person in line (which happened to be me)...

Good luck!!

Cheers

Off title Subject:

It works sometimes but I was the 'second best bidder" recently where the winner backed out and the seller just put the drum back up on a new auction. I was in contact with the seller too. He wanted to see if the drum would sell for more - plain and simple. In the end I was glad he didn't sell it to me because I was in over my head. But, still, my point here is the auction doesn't always go to the next highest bidder if the winner backs out.

True, but, in this case I believe it was Kijiji the OP was referring to...

I wouldn't lose any sleep over it. Bass drum is kinda small anyway. :(

Why on earth would you put Sling hardware on Gretsch shells?
