Taller Vintage Ludwig Cymbal Stand Last viewed: 8 hours ago

I recently bought a mid-'60s L4000 cymbal stand. It's just a few inches short of my comfort zone. Did Ludwig make a taller cymbal stand in the mid-'60s?

Thanks.

Not that i know of.Could the top rod be cut dowm by someone?..I know Ludwig made a spacer that would fit on top of the stand to give about 2" more..You would have to remove the tilter top and bottom piece from stand and add this spacer than just add the tilter top piece to it...If you like i will post a photo later today of the piece iam talking about i have a few of them...Mikey

A picture would be great. Thanks very much Mikey. 2" would help quite well I think.

Nevermind. I'm such a dimwit, I didn't realize there was a third telescoping section. Problem solved. Forgive my ignorance.
