Tama Zola Coating Last viewed: 11 minutes ago

I am thinking of doing a project on an old Tama Swingstar and want to do a tom. I want the inside to match the set if possible and the tom does not even exist. I was thinking of doing an 11" concert tom to go along with the swingstar that I already have and am running as concert toms. I am already running an 8 and 10 that I cut down to seven inches in depath and am keeping the 12 and 13 at eight inches. I know that doing an 11 sounds extreme but I really dont have any thing to lose, it s the only thing to dream about. I am in love with doing drums that do not exist and finding some way to find a part here and there and make it exist. So now I am looking to doing the 11 the correct way.

Dennis passed last week.

To the OP: Look into "stone coatings" in a spray can. There are a few versions and you may have to try a couple to get the proper match.

I'll see if I can find a link...

Search for Granitone here even...

Cannon is no worse than any other part supplier as far as I am concerned. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!!
