Saw this photo of the Foo Fighters at an unknown gig, with Taylor Hawkins on what appears to be a vintage Trixon kit. Pretty cool....

great pic mate...thanks for posting it....
I've read somewhere he's somewhat of a drum collector, and this must be his latest acquisition ?
When you're a rockstar, you can have access to almost anything your heart desires Yes Sir

Here's another vintage kit Taylor Hawkins is playing in this hilarious new
Foo Fighters video..Seems he may be on a collecting binge, or in
between endorsements..Recognize the kit ?

Ooh, nice Ludwig Standard in red strata. The man has taste.
His portrayal of Iggy Pop was one of the highlights of the thoroughly silly (but fun anyway) CBGB movie I watched last night.
And perhaps they laugh, but that's kind of what I expect the senior citizen scene to look like in about 30 years! But the pot will be thoroughly mainstreamed, and the older people watching the band will already be enshrouded in a cloud of it.
Is that Missy Pyle from Galaxy Quest in the "Nurse Ratched" role?

I actually saw Taylor at Guitar Center in Hollywood once as we were both gawking over a massive Alex Van Halen Luddy Kit that was on display. Think it was the one Alex used in the Hot for Teacher video.

Cool story ! I think his old Tama kit, (when he endorsed Tama) which i think he still has,
was modelled after AVH's black and white striped solid vistalite..
Taylor's was White with red stripes and was a wrap..
