Thanks cn! I may try that 3/1 oil. I have an old 41 Ludwig & Ludwig snare I need to clean up. I'm going to get some to use when I put it back together.

I use INOX MX3-300GM better&far superior product the IMHO both CRC&WD40 not sure if available in the USA or not.It doesn't run like either of the above forementioned products.I also use Loctite 222/242/262 in 10ml to prevent&stop the tension rods from loosening.Hope this helps as far as INOX is concerned if it's NOT available over there google it.

Thanks drummer from down under!!! Ill have to look that up. Completely off topic.... but do the toilets in Australia flush in the opposite direction from those in the northern hemisphere?? I always wondered that.

becarefull using any type of oil in a heated room or the sun can make it run and stain your wrap, and anyone who leaves lugs for 30 years deserves crud in them vaseline works awesome and has for over 30 years.,.PartyPartyParty
