From btreat

There's always the old 1963 paper versions. They don't break or give error messages...

Thanks for the shots! I have downloaded the rudiments.

Rudiments are the foundation of drumming and your drumming will only be as strong as your rudiments are.Pretty much impossible to solo without using some form of the 26 standard American rudiments. As Purdie Shuffle does,i still practice rudiments after 50 yrs. of playing.I just can`t get them good enough for me.

Amen and Amen!

From the shelves of the music rooms of 1963

Although long since played, it is always on display in my music room, with found, angry memories Bowing. The most humbling old school rudiment recording ever done. Ahhhh when there were just 13. . Burns Moorer DID literally write the book when it comes to N.A.R.D.

Salute, John!....and all the rudimentary-raised of us!

Funny, because I had the chance to watch a local drum off competition at a local watering hole this weekend, and there wasn't a soul there that could tell a rudiment from a rhutabaga.

Rhutabaga`s are much better in taste, but rudiments are much better in chops and we`re not talking "Pork" here.Practice your rudiments and you`ll have a much better recipe for drumming.Just thoughts from an older guy...
