I’ve wanted to join this forum for years and finally decided to jump in. You guys are a wealth of information and the great part is all of you are willing to share and help. My son and I do drum tuning and percussion clinics for our local school district. He handles the playing side; I handle the tuning and maintenance parts. I play bass but have been restoring and repairing drums and musical instruments for quite a few years. I hope to be able to tap your talents in answering questions from the students and myself. Just getting ready to restore an older Ludwig LR-2240 RM kit so the questions will be starting shortly. We have a late 60’s Ludwig Super Classic kit ,a early 70s Slingerland Student snare, and an old 1960’s Drumcraft Jazz kit down in the music room that got me turned on to your site .
