Someone said that the moderators here don't like links so I posted the name of the Ebay auction so anyone who interested can easily find the drum on Ebay BUT I typed in the wrong listing so it should read: RARE - LUDWIG FAMILY - BRASS SNARE DRUM - FROM GERMANY 1880'S - A MUST SEE! (shows where my brain was....)

Can you post the item number, this might be a way to get some attention from memebers that have not stumbled on to this thread. And it provides and easy way to see the auction. If we all had easy access to the ebay listing you never know someone might pull the trigger.

You can cancel that bid if it's international and you don't want to ship it out of the country. It says quite clearly on the auction that there's no international sales.
