I'm considering selling my two Slingy kits.

Both are orphans.

One is a Black Diamond Pearl. 22" BD, 13" Rack, 16" & 18" Floor. The BD, Rack and 16 are 60's, the 18 is 70's. It will come with a 20" matching BD matching the 13" in year. I believe '64. That's 5 drums.

The other is a Silver Sparkle. 20" BD, 12" Rack and 16" Floor. The BD is 1960's, the two toms are 70's. There is a matching 12" Tom shell that matches the bass that comes with the kit, but it was repaired.

If anyone is interested, let me know. I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Still not convinced that I want to sell, but I have my eye on a new kit.

If you decide you want to sell let me know on the BDP kit. I have a lone 60's 20" and would be interested in the 16". That way I'm a step closer to a complete kit, and you still have a full kit you can sell. I'd even be interested in the extra 20". Heck if the price is right I might just take the kit.

IF I sell these, they will only be sold as complete kits (shells only, no stands, snares or cymbals). The bass drums have no extra holes and I have the two mounts (one is a rail mount) that come with them. I paid a forum member $425 for the 18" floor tom alone and it has a slight repair on the shell done by the member, but it's beautiful and hardly noticeable and sounds thundering.

The years are for the BDP Kit

1964 20" BD

1965 22" BD

1964 13" Tom

1966 - 1969 16" FT

1978 18" FT

The years for the SS Kit

1967 20" BD

1976 12" Tom

1976 16" FT

The silver kit also comes with a matching 1967 12" tom shell that has been repaired on the inside but looks and sounds great.

All BDP drums have fairly new hands and the Silver kit has all new heads.

I also have an original 20" Slingerland Bass drum head for the silver kit.

The BDP kit comes with a matching 20" BD that does have some extra holes BUT sounds awesome!

Here are some pics.

Not sure about the prices, I paid a ton of money for these with new parts and rims and heads and, and, and...

I would be happy with somewhere around 700 for the silver kit and 1200 for the BDP.

Let me know if anyone is interested. I'd hate to go to eBay on these.
