I just ran across this recent listing on eBay for 3 drums, the description is as follows:
**************************************************
YOU ARE BIDDING ON THREE SUPER RARE & IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND VINTAGE 1960's SLINGERLAND & TWO 1970's PEARL TOMS!!! These toms are the holy grail of drums, so get yours before they're gone forever! Please note that what you see is what you get. I had sent these pictures into the drum museum to get some background information on them & hear is what they had to say.
"The larger two are Asian import student level toms from the 1970's. They were most likely made by the Pearl company out of mahogany and were originally a wrap finish. The smallest drum appears to be a Slingerland tom approximately 1963-64 from a student kit. The Slingerland is the most valuable of the bunch."

I just love it to find phrases such as "SUPER RARE & IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND" and "...the holy grail of drums, so get yours before they're gone forever!"
Anyway the link is here, if anyone's wanting these tubs!
Just thought somebody else on here needed a good laugh! Laughing H
