i need a few pointers on these. am i correct in thinking this is a new yorker set with an added floor tom? they are 12/14/22x12. the bass/tom #s are 82427/82479 and the floor is 331186. about how far apart does that put them? around what are they worth as is with the horrible pearl hex mount installed and what would they be worth restored? i need for sure 2 hoops, 2 inlays a rail/mount, 20 t rods, a white felt muffler, a wing nut for a bass spur and something to get sticky stuff of the wrap.

the floor tom was probably added later which was very common as you probably know. the bass and ride tom are probably very early 65 and the floor tom is most likely a 66.

mike, thanks for the time frame. this is my first set this old so Im a little in the dark here.

I just realized you've got a 14x14 floor tom, right? youre way ahead of the game. that's a pretty penny there. do you have a red felt baseball bat muffler on the 12 and a white one on the 14? your floor tom mounts and the bass drum spur mounts might be a little different too unless some one changed the bass out to the newer style.

14x14 it is! with the correct legs I believe. that and the odd depth bass sold me. sadly the mufflers were removed.. but if that's most likely the way they came then ill need a white padded muffler too. the mounts on the bass are the old style. wish they would have left the rail too.
Not bad for 250 bucks.
ive got a few more in them then that.. it was almost 300 miles round trip. I take it you were the one wanting to ship to California?
You did great. The 14" floor tom is worth the price you paid for the entire kit & gas/tolls. Well worth putting right.
Enjoy em...
John
You didn't do very good... you did excellent!
