Gary. Brother I can not say I know how you feel. I can't. I have not stood in your shoes on this experience you are now going through. Let the dust settle for awhile and then if you want to come back to selling and buying so be it. Remember it is Just one part of the love or curse of vintage drums.

Your drummers not much good is he!? What you need is someone that's as good as me. ! John Henry Bonham !!

jayhog-i`m with Mark, the drums haven`t lost the desire so keep up the fire and stay possitive with a passion not many know.Gig as much as you can and give it a break for awhile and that desire just might come back to you...

Gary,

That NRPS kit deal was a bummer, but focus on enjoying what you have. I have had to step away from buying vintage as well and will probably sell off some if my stuff in the future. That doesn't mean I can't enjoy seeing what everyone else is doing and refurbishing. I always enjoy your posts and have a lot of respect for a guy that takes the ramifications of that last purchase so seriously.

Gary, why not just sit in the back seat for a while, and think things over. You just had an experience that your not used to having, and I can see ,it's left a bad taste in your mouth.

That bad taste usually goes away after a time, and time is what you should give it..Just relax buddy.A clearer head should prevail, not this one.
